From Wikipedia ...

Hevea brasiliensis, the Pará rubber tree, sharinga tree, seringueira, or, most commonly, the rubber tree or rubber plant, is a tree belonging to the family Euphorbiaceae. It is the most economically important member of the genus Hevea because the milky latex extracted from the tree is the primary source of natural rubber.

Data

We used GCF_001654055.1_ASM165405v1_genomic.fna and GCF_001654055.1_ASM165405v1_genomic.gff from NCBI as the reference genome. The Isoseq data downloaded from Rubber tree genome. We used TAPIS pipeline to process these raw data.

Summary

From Iso-Seq data, we found 29,882 transcripts, 297 novel genes and 37,479 Alternative Splicing events.
