Panax ginseng, the ginseng, also known as Asian ginseng, Chinese ginseng, or Korean ginseng, is a species of plant whose root is the original source of ginseng. It is a perennial plant that grows in the mountains of Eastern Asia.
We used IPGA_v1_Jbrowse_update_1.1.gff and ginseng_v1.fasta from Ginseng Genome Database as the reference genome. The Isoseq data downloaded from NCBI were under project SRP109885. To process polypolid plants we insert two extra steps, phasing and adjusting, into TAPIS pipeline.
From Iso-Seq data, we found 65,779 transcripts, 7,501 novel genes and 58,065 Alternative Splicing events.
