Triticum aestivum

From Wikipedia ...

Triticum aestivum (common wheat), also known as bread wheat, is a cultivated wheat species. About 95% of the wheat produced is common wheat, which is the most widely grown of all crops and the cereal with the highest monetary yield

Data

We used Triticum_aestivum.TGACv1.38.gff3 and Triticum_aestivum.TGACv1.dna.toplevel.fa from ensembl as the reference genome. The Isoseq data downloaded from NCBI were under project ERP016738. To process polypolid plants we insert two extra steps, phasing and adjusting, into TAPIS pipeline.

Summary

From Iso-Seq data, we found 227,527 transcripts, 11,586 novel genes and 186,011 Alternative Splicing events.
